Beyond the Closet is a coming-of-age story centred on the relationship between two Asian-Canadian youths, Theo and Gin. Gin supports Theo in achieving his dream of becoming a fashion model, while Theo helps Gin discover their interest in fashion styling. The short film explores the complexity of sexuality and the diverse shapes and forms queer love can take.
