Curiosity Shop, 2022

"Curiosity Shop" is a story of my chance encounter with a shop called the Gargoyle Statuary as I scrolled along the University Way in Seattle, Washington. With all things strange and exotic, the piece expresses my feelings, experiences, and observations as I explore the mysterious shop. This piece is influenced by the poet, Edgar Allen Poe, with his gothic style and obsession with ravens. This piece relates to my other work which focus on deciphering mystery, exploring the emotions and the unconsciousness.
